The Bowls Green

Our bowls green is approximately 36m square and is large enough to play 6 rinks in both directions.  The green is maintained by a small group of members who work on the green throughout the year.  During the playing season the green is cut at least three times a week, usually in the mornings.

Like most clubs we like to think that our green is one of the best in the area;  unlike most clubs we are regularly congratulated by visiting players who tell us that it is one of the best!  We often host finals and semi finals of area and county competitions and our green is  a popular venue for games that must be played on a neutral green.
